Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Cedar Canyon Camp.

For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of serving in Christian camping. Even before that, I grew up attending Christian camps and, since I was six years old, I've seen firsthand how God uses these places to change lives.

That's why I believe so deeply in what we do.

At Cedar Canyon Camp, every role matters. Whether you're leading an activity, cleaning a cabin, maintaining the grounds, or preparing a meal, you're helping create a place where people can encounter Christ.

That's especially true in food service.

Some of the most meaningful moments at camp happen around a table. Meals create opportunities for conversations, friendships, encouragement, and community. Long after guests forget what was served, they'll remember how they were welcomed.

As we look to the future, I'm praying God brings us a leader who loves Jesus, enjoys serving others, leads with humility, and believes hospitality is one of the greatest ministries we can offer our guests.

If that sounds like you, I'd love to invite you to prayerfully consider joining our team.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about Cedar Canyon Camp. I hope we have the opportunity to get to know you.

- WHY FOOD MATTERS -

A meal is never just a meal at camp. It's the one moment in the schedule where everyone — campers,
counselors, pastors, grandparents, kitchen crew — sits down together at the same tables. Conversations
happen there that don't happen anywhere else on property. Homesickness gets talked through over a full plate. A retreat group's hardest conversation of the weekend often starts, almost by accident, over dinner.

That's why we treat food service as a frontline ministry, not a support function. Every buffet line, every dietary accommodation, every 5 a.m. start for a big breakfast is an act of hospitality — and hospitality is one of the
clearest, most tangible ways we get to show guests the love of Christ before we ever say a word about it.
